There was this one time when I felt like my teacher really acknowledged and respected what I had done. Grades were closing and there were some grades I needed to get up. I went around from teacher to teacher, asking if there was anything I could possibly do to get my grades up. In this one specific class, I had a 77. I kept asking my teacher what I could do and would it be possible to boost my grades. About three assignments later, my grade went up to an 83. I still wanted a higher one. I was stressing out about it and was pretty much begging to get more work. That’s when my teacher told me it was okay. He said he’d seen the amount of work and effort I’d put in and told me that I’d already tried very hard. This really made me feel good and respected, because he could actually see how hard I’d worked and he acknowledged it.
