During my 8th grade year, an annual tradition of having a talent show ended because the teacher who usually organized the show was leaving. Many students were upset, including me. A few of my friends and I decided we would put the talent show on ourselves to give our peers their time to shine. With the help of a few teachers and our assistant principal, we were able to make this happen. It was a great show, the students had so much fun, and the community was very supportive.
